Ens Savok Sattor, Original CMO: Doctor Sattor was a 33 year old, 6'6" Vulcan/Klingon officer first assigned to Abertura on SD 10202.06. He did not spend much time on Hais V before being reassigned, but he was instrumental in getting the sickbay operational after discovering severe damage to the Klingon-modified facility. He's chief nemesis was a bio-bed that continuously malfunctioned and even physically collapsed after a drunk and wounded Klingon fell on to it. [Played by William Cox.]

Lt-Cmdr Oitan Hixxan, Original XO: LtCmdr Hixxan was a 32-year-old, 6'3" Bolian officer first assigned to Abertura on SD 10201.23. Capt. Thelsh and he were the Blue Two (Andorian and Bolian), though they did not necessarily see eye to eye. Hixxan set Thelsh up for her physical with the doctor, and he frequently questioned Thelsh about her long hours on the job. Then on SD 10204.03, just 14 days after arriving on Hais V (in game time) Hixxan killed the Vorta second officer, Laevon, by breaking his neck. This was done in defense of the Captain, and Hixxan was cleared of criminal wrongdoing, but due to the diplomatic repercussions, he was reassigned to the USS Dynasty as the CEO. [Played by Chris Gibson.]

LtCmdr Ashlynn Kostandinos, Second XO: LtCmdr Kostandinos was a 25-year-old, 5'3" Risan officer first assigned to Abertura on SD 10204.23. She transferred from the USS Hayden, where she served as the CTO. She brought along her 10-year-old daughter Adrienne, who had an adventure when she was lost within the station. Ashlynn helped host the first Cardassian trades group to Abertura Station, and had an intense dislike for Laevon. She served as XO for just four days (game time) before deciding that Abertura was not a posting to her liking. She returned to the Hayden, as its CTO. [Played by Erin Cody.]

Ens Blake Harris, second CMO: Ens. Harris was a 18-year-old, 198cm Human officer first assigned to Abertura on SD 10204.17. It was his first assignment following graduation from the Academy, and he spent only a short while on Abertura before his permanent orders caught up with him. Tyler Hamilton (CVO) and he had a bit of a confrontation after Dr Harris took an ATWV for a joyride without permission. [Played by Blake Harris.]

Lt Korben Dallas, Original CSEC: Lt. Dallas was a 29-year-old, 6'2" Human officer first assigned to Abertura on SD 10201.16. It was his first assignment after graduating from the Academy, but it was not his first SF assignment. Korben had served as an enlisted crewman in SF prior to being accepted by the Academy for officer training. This time as a NCO helped Korben deal with the enlisted crewman, but seemed to leave some difficulties in dealing with higher-ranking officers. His attitude lead to a verbal reprimand from Capt. Thelsh and then-XO LtCmdr Kostandinos, after he was openly disrespectful to Cardassian Traders being welcomed to the Station. Lt. Dallas also was the CSEC, and thus lead the investigation, during the time when then-XO LtCmdr Hixxan killed Laevon 1.0. Lt. Dallas had a standing request to SF for reassignment away from Abertura Station, and this request was finally granted on 10207.31. [Played by Kurt Goring.]

Lt. Michael Lambert, Original CEO: Lt. Lambert, a 29-year-old, 6'2" Human male, was first assigned to Abertura on SD 10201.15. It was his first Chief Engineering assignment, and it was a monumental posting. Abertura Station was in severe disarray following a pitch battle between the Klingon Garrison posted at the station and the Jem'Hadar soldiers that lived there. Lt. Lambert was one of the first SF officers to arrive at Abertura Station, and he spent almost his entire time putting it back together. A stubborn problem with making Dominion technology compatible with the Federation's equipment plagued the early days of his tenure, but with the arrival of the Starfleet Corps of Engineers, Lambert overcame this as well. All was going well for the Lt. until, during an away team mission to tour the Hasung River Delta, a boating accident led to Michael getting bit by a poisonous Ranchiti. Concerned that the toxin was lethal led to the amputation of Lambert's left leg, above the knee. This was accomplished by the CSO, Cmdr Brock, using a phaser to cut and cauterize the extremity. Following this traumatic experience, and learning from the medical staff at the station that the poison would not have proven fatal to a human, Lt. Lambert was reassigned to a SF Medical facility for treatment and rehabilitation on SD 10210.09. [Played by Mike Stannard.]

Ens. Ian James Cerdan, Original EO: Ens. Cerdan, a 22-year-old, 5'10" Human male, was first assigned to Abertura on 10209.02, after serving as an engineer on both the USS Hayden and the Engineering Research Facility on Earth. Along with the newly arrived CTO, Ens. Cerdan was instrumental in rescuing fellow crewmembers that were stranded in the Hasung River Delta, on Hais V. Ian was also on hand to assist in greeting the many dignitaries that arrived at Abertura Station for its dedication ceremony, before being reassigned to the USS Gryphon on 10211.20 [Played by Phil Yarbrough.]

Lt. Apollo Mead Jadahn, Original CBO: This 30 year-old, 6'3" Betazoid / Vulcan Lieutenant was first assigned to Abertura Station on 10201.16. Arriving with the first SF team to the station, Apollo was instrumental in coordinating the initial renovations and technological merging of Federation and Dominion systems within the station, as well as all the other duties required of the Chief of Base Operations. He was among the first SF and Federation citizen to tour the Haisian Capital, coordinated the first SF hosted trade meeting between Hais V and the Cardassian Ore merchant, Nrella Ixcet, and aided in the rescue of Haispoi trapped in a landslide. Apollo's organizational skills were vital to the renovations of the station, keeping all needed supplies and equipment in stock and on order with SF. Lt. Jadahn was recalled to Earth to deal with a family emergency on SD 10211.21. His permanent transfer orders arrived soon after his departure. [Played by Kevin Geist.]

Ens. Ryan Michael King, second CSEC: Ens. King, a 25 year-old, 5'0" human, spent only a short time on Hais V before being reassigned. But during his stay, he assisted EO Cerdan in rescuing an away team from the Hasung Delta. Ens. King piloted the shuttle Copernicus during the rescue mission. Ryan was reassigned on SD 10211.21 [Played by Ryan King.]

Ens. Tyler Hamilton, original CVO: This 6'1", 19 year-old human proved to be something of a trial for the Captain. Ens Hamilton was well known for enthusiasm, as well as for inevitably getting into trouble. His piloting/driving skills were exceptional, but to be a passenger in a vehicle 'controlled' by Tyler was extremely nerve racking. He was also a menace to any diplomatic meeting, being very socially inept. He once broke a portion of the wall within the Haisian governmental building. The Haispoi assaulted him after killing a bug (which had bitten him). And he constantly was a concern for the Captain, who dreaded riding with him. Ens Hamilton was reassigned on SD 10212.20. [Played by Scott Fisher.]

LtCmdr. Brock, original CSO: The 45 year-old Gallamite male, 6'2", joined Abertura on 10202.13. Though his appearance caused something of a stir (transparent skull and all), Brock's helpful personality, compassionate soul, and hardened sense of duty quickly won over the rest of the staff. While, due to his intelligence, it was hard not to expect Vulcan like stoicism, Brock expressed a wide range of emotions, making him more… human.
LtCmdr Brock also became involved in many adventures during his 45 days on Hais V. It was his experiment into using sonic waves to attempt to scan the hidden quarters of the Jem'Hadar that led to injuring Laevon (1.0) and causing him to attempt to kill the CO and XO, and in turn getting killed by the XO in self defense.
He had a close encounter with a claustrophobic Jem'Hadar female, Yokati'Clon, when trapped in a lift, he accompanied Gen. Ranuck and his Klingons on "field maneuvers", and was almost run down by an irate orthan. Finally, he amputated the CEO's leg in an attempt to save the man's life after a venomous Ranchiti bit him.
Brock was fond of, and increasingly emotionally attached to, his roommate, Kiz Kedi. The Gallamite and the Human/Cait romance was just blossoming when he was transferred to the USS Tal-War as CSO. Fortunately, Kiz joined him there after completing her SFAcademy courses. Both left on SD 10301.22. [Played by Steve Seliquini.]

Civilian Student Kiz Kedi, original CIV: 22 year-old Caitian / human cross-breed assigned to Abertura Station on a student visa. She arrived on SD 10202.13 and settled into the newly acquired station. With her bright, cheerful personality, girlish fears, and fine fashion sense she dealt with the many hazards and trials presented by Abertura by screaming frequently and clutching tightly to Brock. J
She gave lectures at the Kayairn University, joined the Haisian version of a rave, did a bit of shopping, and flirted with many of the SF officers assigned to Abertura. She brought a bit of youth and enjoyment of life to the often dark and gloomy station.
After a while, she became emotionally attached to her roommate, Brock. She completed her college degree into to join Brock on his transfer to the USS Tal-War, leaving on SD 10301.22 to become its MO. [Played by Kytra Seliquini.]

LtJG. Michael Lammel, original CNS: Initially the CMO of Abertura Station, he quickly transferred to the Counselor's slot. From this position, Lammel helped save the Captain, Admiral Croft, and the Founder from the fanatical Klingon cult bent on bloodletting. [played by Cory F.]

Ens. Morgan T. Jansen, original Sec: 23 yo human female. Aided in the rescue of the Captain from the Klingon cult, became encased by the T'Kon exo-skeleton/weapon system. Locked within, she hunted the senior staff, attempting to kill all. The armor was captured in a transporter beam, but Ens Jansen died when the attempt to separate her from the armor failed. [played by Darlene W.]

Captain Thelsh, original CO: 35 year old female Andorian. Captain Thelsh was the first Commanding Officer of Abertura Station, arriving with the very first Starfleet officers. Faced with an overwhelming task of bringing a recently damaged Dominion Starbase up to Federation standards, Thelsh met the challenge head on, and every subsequent challenge. A lasting trade agreement with the Haisians, maintaining a peaceful coexistance with Klingons and the Jem'Hadar, and fending off a ruthless Vorta were all part of a routine day for this Captain. Never one to shirk from duty or responsibility, Captain Thelsh was called upon for a classified mission, where the fates conspired against her. Her body was recovered by a team of her peers, and kept vigil over until a memorial service aboard her station. [played by Robert Pate.]

Ensign Jaimie Dawson, third Chief of Base Operations: 18 year old female Human. A youthful and vigorous human, Jaimie Dawson was assigned to Abertura following her early graduation from the Academy. Knowing a little of everything, but master of none, she wsa beginning to find her niche on the station before being called away for assignment on a deep space vessel. [played by Beth Kelley.]
